E-participatory Approaches in Urban Design

The phenomenon of planning involving citizen’s participation in literature has been from the second half 20th century. Indeed, different methods and techniques have used process. However, participatory practices are time-consuming negotiations tiresome. Accordingly, integration developing digital technologies into processes seen as a potential to reach large audiences provide time-space independence. Within scope this research, detailed review was done regarding e-participation, ten (10) examples representing upper levels at ladder were examined within context project, participation, socio-technical criteria. SWOT analyzes structured by grouping similar applications, current trends for use e-participation urban design revealed. analysis showed that citizens e participation- tend allow citizen or location-based interaction, playful interfaces game elements which can be sources encouragement.
